BEST GARAGEBAND SONG CONTEST

· Your song should make musical sense and be aesthetically pleasing to the ear.

· You must have at least three instrument families represented (woodwind, brass, percussion, strings, keyboards)

· It must be long enough but not too long (between 2-3 minutes)

· It should have a distinguishable form (ABA, intro-verse-chorus-verse-chorus, ABBA, etc.)

· You have to submit a, MS word file that explains the following:

1. Title and why

2. What instruments you used and instrument family

3. How long it is

4. The style

5. Influenced by (band performer, style)

6. The form of the song

You must complete your song and Word file within two classes and then send them to Mr. V. Five of the best compositions will be chosen from Mr. V. Then all students will listen to the 5 compositions (no names) and chose their favorite.
