My project is about projection.  While you read this you will learn a lot about projection. Some of the things you will learn is what projection is, how to improve your projection and some more additional facts. So I hope you enjoy this essay on the one the only projection!!!

You are probably wondering what projection is. Well projection is the strength of singing whereby the voice is loud and very clear for people to hear.  When your thinking of projection you should think of clarity of you words and your volume. So if you sing loud well loud at a good level so the sound is still pleasant you have good projection. Also if you are very clear with you words you have good projection.

If you think you need to work on your projection here are some tips. Well you need to have good breath technique to have proper projection. To have good breath technique you should try to open up you diaphragm   more so the air can flow better. Also you shouldn't be tense when you sing. If you are tense the sound of your voice will sound tense and that might not be pleasant to listen to. So when you sing try to be really relaxed and peaceful. Also you should have proper stance. Proper stance is to stand up straight with your shoulders and feet parallel with each other. This helps you breathing and balance for better projection.

Another tip is resonators or the speakers in you head. To improve that you should block you nose and say the following sentence " Many mighty men making much money in the moonshine". Then say the same thing with your nose unblocked and notice the difference. Also try humming the song before. So next time you sing in chorus,at home, or anywhere else remember these tips for better projection.

Now some additional facts of projection is to try to have no stage fright. Stage fright can affect projection. When you have stage fright try to focus on an object or wall infront of you. It helps because you are not focused on all the people looking at you.Projection can be affected by stage fright because if you have stage fright you have the tendency to look down or lower your volume of sound.

So from reading this I hope you learned a lot. If you want to learn some more about projection you should research some more and try to improve yours. I'm going to try to improve mine a lot. I hope you enjoyed reading this and had fun learning about projection as much as I did.
